1.- Login:
Connect to SWGtools with your Discord ID.
This will set up your private session and will remain active as long as your browser is open. No further personal data is required.
NOTE: We only collect your primary username, user ID and the Discord servers you are currently a member of. We will not ask you for your personal information under any circumstances, by any method or through any channel.
2.- How to report a resource location
Once you are logged in, you can select a resource and report a location (or multiple locations) on the current resources page.
Your reported locations will be displayed in relation to each resource and in a global location for reported resources. Public reports always refer to active/current resources. Resources that are no longer available are not displayed in the reports once depleted.
You can also manage and edit your own personal content.
3.- Community sharing
Your submitted resource waypoint sends a notification to subscribed Discord channels. These alerts are in addition to the standard spawned and despawned resource alerts. The format is: resource name and class, planet, waypoint, concentration, notes and your Discord username.
4.- Private resources data
In addition to the location sharing feature, you can add additional private data for each resource. This data (inventory and private notes) is not displayed in the alert notifications and is only available and visible to you via your unique Discord username.
Your private data will be strongly encrypted and we will not share this data, nor can we easily access it.
NOTE: Server data is collected directly from the Evolve server.
Have fun with it, SWGtools Team
